The CIS will open its election observation to monitor the presidential election in Belarus on 18 December, CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev told reporters, BelTA learned.
“We are opening the mission tomorrow. The election observation center in the CIS Executive Committee is already up and running. We have received an invitation from the Republic of Belarus and are deploying this mission,” Sergei Lebedev said.
