The Belarusian air company Belavia will operate a regular air service to India, BelTA learned from the airline's press service
The first flight will be launched on 11 August. Initially, flights between Minsk and Delhi will be operated weekly (on Fridays). From 20 September, the airline intends to increase the frequency of flights to twice a week: flights from capital of the Belarus will be operated on Wednesdays, from Delhi - on Thursdays.

In H1 2023, Belarus' trade in goods and services increased by 15% year-on-year and exceeded $46 billion. The foreign trade surplus was estimated at $167.3 million, BelTA informs citing the statistics posted on the website of the National Bank.

About 360,000 military personnel have been deployed in the immediate vicinity of the Union State of Belarus and Russia. The number includes the armed forces of Eastern Europe countries, the Russian news agency TASS quoted Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu as saying.
In his words, about 8,000 armored vehicles, 6,000 artillery systems and mortars, 650 aircraft and helicopters are also deployed near the borders of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.
