Belarusian health resorts fully booked for winter holiday season

Belarusian health resorts are fully booked for the New Year and Christmas holidays, Director of the Belarusian national center of health resort treatment and recuperation Gennady Bolbatovsky told the media, BelTA has learned.

"Our sanatoriums and health resorts are traditionally in high demand during the holiday season. People began booking long before the winter holiday season. Sanatoriums and health resorts are fully booked. The holiday season lasts from 24 December to 10 January. The range of services includes accommodation, meals, New Year's banquets and events and treatment programs. More than 95% of vouchers for this period include full-fledged treatment programs," Gennady Bolbatovsky said.

Vacationers will also be provided with a wide range of additional paid services, including excursions. "Belarusian nationals, foreign citizens will be able to see the most beautiful sights of our country. All kinds of services are available for our customers. Sanatoriums and health resorts are ready for the New Year holidays. According to our estimates, the customer numbers will reach about 24,000 during the season. Foreign citizens account for about 45% or about 11,000-12,000," Gennady Bolbatovsky noted.
