Program on reconciling Belarus', Russia's macroeconomic policies completed

The Union State program on reconciling the macroeconomic policies of Belarus and Russia has been fulfilled. Aleksei Zubovich, Head of the Central Office for Macroeconomic Analysis and Forecasting of the Belarusian Economy Ministry, mentioned it at a joint session of the boards of the Belarusian Economy Ministry and the Russian Economic Development Ministry in Brest, the Economy Ministry's press service told BelTA.

Aleksei Zubovich's report covered the realization of the Union State program on reconciling the macroeconomic policies. The economy ministries of Belarus and Russia are directly responsible for it.

Aleksei Zubovich remarked that as part of the efforts to synchronize strategic governance Belarus and Russia had done a lot of work to form the appropriate legal environment, reconcile approaches to the development of short-term and medium-term documents as well as requirements for the system of management of government programs. An agreement was signed on working out a forecast of the Union State of Belarus and Russia and on interaction on economic affairs.

The official said: “In matters concerning support for small and medium private businesses we actively use the digital agenda and follow a parallel course towards creating a system of administrative procedures, which will be as convenient for doing business as possible, or a system of providing government services as they are accustomed to saying within the legislative framework of the Russian Federation. In the sphere of statistics the National Statistics Committee of Belarus and the Federal State Statistics Service of Russia have achieved full compatibility of all the main indicators of official statistics in key industries on the basis of international standards. In conclusion I can say that the Union State program has been fulfilled in full.”
