Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin are holding talk in the Kremlin, BelTA has learned.
A reminder, the heads of state are set to discuss a wide range of issues, including trade and economic cooperation, security challenges in the region, joint actions to promote the national interests of the two countries, as well as the international agenda.
On 17 February, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko reviewed the Belarusian-Russian military drills Allied Resolve 2022 at the Osipovichi training ground. He told reporters that he planned to discuss further actions of the joint group of troops with Vladimir Putin.
Aleksandr Lukashenko also told reporters about the telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin that took place on 16 February. “We had a phone conversation with President Putin, discussed our schedule for Friday-Saturday, because our exercise will still be in progress on Saturday. The Russian side will inform you what site we will visit to review the exercise,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
