Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the leaders of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states as the countries celebrate Day of the Eurasian Economic Union, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“The decision to establish the EAEU, adopted in 2014, became fateful for the member states. Today we can say with confidence that the Union has successfully passed the stage of formation to become a significant international organization, whose authority on the global arena is steadily improving,” the message of greetings reads.
During the current period of acute geopolitical and economic turbulence, the commitment to Eurasian integration is a powerful factor of sustainability, economic growth and social stability, Aleksandr Lukashenko said. He expressed confidence that through joint efforts and actions in the spirit of alliance and solidarity, the EAEU countries would be able to fully realize the potential of the organization.
The president of Belarus wished the leaders of the EAEU member states good health, happiness and implementation of all goals.
