Sixteen Belarusian manufacturers are featured at the 22th regional universal trade-industrial exhibition Armenia Expo 2023 in Yerevan, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).
On the opening day of the expo, the Belarusian exposition was visited by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Armenia Aleksandr Konyuk and Counselor of the Embassy of Belarus in Armenia Inessa Korotkevich.
The Made in Belarus exposition features a variety of products. The Belgospishcheprom food industry concern holds the central place in the pavilion: Spartak confectionery factory, OAO Belkofe, the producer of brewing malt Belsolod, Minsk Kristall distillery, the Brest distillery Belalko, Klimovichi distillery, the Pinsk winery and the Slutsk sugar refinery.
The dairy segment also showcases a wide range of Belarusian companies, such as Babushkina Krynka, Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Plant, Molochny Mir dairy and Slutsk Cheese Making Plant who have displayed various types of cheeses, milk powder, butter and other dairy products.
In addition to food, the Made in Belarus exposition also presents the latest products and promising developments from Belarusian companies. One of them is an innovative disinfection system for elevator cabins presented by OAO Zenit. This system provides fast and safe disinfection of elevators and surrounding premises. OAO Vitebsk Carpets has brought carpets-paintings made on the basis of ready-made sketches and also new collections of carpets made of polyester and polypropylene.
On the eve of the opening of the exhibition forum in Yerevan, Ambassador Aleksandr Konyuk met with the participants of the Belarusian exposition to discuss trade and prospects for cooperation with Armenia.
The exposition of Belarusian manufacturers at Armenia Expo 2023 will stay open until 17 September. The organizer of the Made in Belarus exposition at Armenia Expo in Yerevan is the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
