Belarus ready to sell more agricultural machines, municipal vehicles to Kyrgyzstan

Belarus is ready to deliver more agricultural machines, municipal vehicles, and other vehicles and machines to Kyrgyzstan. Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Anatoly Sivak made the statement as he met with Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev, BelTA has learned.

According to Anatoly Sivak, Belarus is intent on persistently advancing cooperation across the board, however, trade and economy remain top priorities. “We believe that the main task is to persistently increase the volume of trade turnover taking into account the potential of the Eurasian Economic Union, which gives us unquestionable advantages thanks to the free duty-free transportation of goods, thanks to unified technical and sanitary requirements as well as many other advantages in mutual trade,” the official said.

Anatoly Sivak went on saying: “We already have certain accomplishments. It is testified by the positive dynamics of bilateral trade in the last few years. It is secured not only by the mutual increase in volumes of trade in traditional goods but their diversification as well.”

Despite the serious sanctions-fuelled pressure Belarus' machine-building industry remains strong. “We are ready to increase deliveries of our agricultural machines, municipal vehicles, other machines and vehicles to Kyrgyzstan. Tools designed to offer financial support for massive purchases are available,” the deputy prime minister noted. “We welcome Kyrgyzstan's eagerness to realize large-scale infrastructure projects. We will be glad to offer our machines, vehicles, and equipment, and the experience of our specialists for building the Kambarata 1 hydropower plant, for building the Kyrgyz section of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway.”

“An exposition of Belarusian machines, vehicles, and equipment has been prepared for you. It gives the impression of capabilities of our manufacturers. We count on versatile and long-term partnership with Kyrgyzstan in this area,” Anatoly Sivak said. “While in Belarus you will also have an opportunity to visit agribusiness enterprises and get familiar with our accomplishments in agriculture.”
