About a thousand journalists from 12 countries will cover the 2nd CIS Games. This is comparable to the 2nd European Games, which were held in Minsk in 2019, BelTA learned from the Information Ministry of Belarus.

Belarus has welcomed over 11,000 foreign nationals who took advantage of the visa waiver program in one week, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
Belarus has hosted 650,994 arrivals from the neighboring EU countries since the launch of the visa-waiver program. They include 415,538 citizens of Lithuania, 44,612 non-citizens and 145,576 citizens of Latvia, and 45,268 Polish citizens.

More than 109,000 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 24 February 2022, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
“Since the start of the year Belarus has admitted 34,451 citizens of Ukraine: 25,071 came to Belarus via Poland, 7,490 via Lithuania and 1,890 via Latvia,” the State Border Committee informed.
