Population

As from January 1, 2023, the population of the region was 21,0, of them 6,8 lived in the town of Dokshitsy, 2,5 in Begomol.

Women account for 53.6% of the total population, men – for 46.3%. In terms of ethnicities Belarusians account for 92.7% of the population (32,100), Russians for 3.8% (1,300), others 3.5% (1,200).
