MINSK, 11 May (BelTA) – Preparations for the IV All-Belarusian People’s Congress have begun. The Belarus President signed ordinance No 150rp “Preparations for the fourth All-Belarusian People’s Congress” on 11 May, the press service of the Belarusian head of state told BelTA. A national organizing committee has been set up to prepare and hold the congress. The co-chairmen are Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky and Head of the Belarus President Administration Vladimir Makei. An interagency working group has been set up to work out a draft program for Belarus’ social and economic development in 2011-2015. Its co-chairmen are Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration Leonid Anfimov and Vice Premier Andrei Kobyakov. By 1 July 2010 the head of state is supposed to receive proposals concerning the date for holding the All-Belarusian People’s Congress, the number of its participants. The draft framework of the program for Belarus’ social and economic development in 2011-2015 should be ready by 1 July 2010.
