Lukashenko sends Belarusian embroidered shirts to Zelensky and his spouse

MINSK, 10 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent Belarusian embroidered shirts to Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky and his spouse Olena, BelTA learned from the Telegram-channel Pul 1.

MINSK, 10 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent Belarusian embroidered shirts to Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky and his spouse Olena, BelTA learned from the Telegram-channel Pul 1.

“Belarusian embroidered shirts for Volodymyr and Olena are sent to Kiev,” the message reads. According to the Telegram-channel, the gift from Aleksandr Lukashenko is accompanied by a letter which reads that “in the course of history [Belarus and Ukraine] have been standing shoulder to shoulder, protecting the rights to independent and free development.” It is expected that the package will be delivered to the Ukrainian leader by the Belarusian Day of Embroidered Shirt which is celebrated on 2 July.

Earlier Volodymyr Zelensky sent a Ukrainian embroidered shirt to the Belarusian president on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of Embroidered Shirt in the country. It was reported that the gift was handed over by the ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus through Belarus' Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei.
