Lukashenko gives buses, tractors to Khalifa Haftar as gifts

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko presented certificates for Belarusian buses and tractors to Field Marshal and Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan National Army Khalifa Belqasim Haftar during a meeting in Minsk on 18 February, BelTA has learned.

The certificates have been issued for ten MAZ 206 buses and ten Belarus 820 tractors.

The head of state also presented the Libyan guest with a basket of Belarusian food products and sweets. “These products are not meant for long storage. They are preservative-free,” he said.

“Visit us any time. You are always welcome. I will definitely come to Libya,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
