Broad money supply in Belarus up by 2.5% in June

As of 1 July 2022 the broad money supply in Belarus amounted to Br53.870 billion, up by 2.5% from 1 June, BelTA learned from the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB). Broad money supply includes cash in circulation and bank accounts of individuals and corporations.

Cash in circulation rose by 4% to Br5.837 billion in June.

Transferable deposits went up by 11.1% to Br7.619 billion.

The money supply in national terms amounted to Br25.026 billion, up by 4.6% in June.

The volume of national currency securities issued by banks (outside bank circulation) contracted by 4.3% down to Br1.586 billion in June.

The ruble money supply amounted to Br26.613 billion as of 1 July, up by 4% from 1 June.

The volume of foreign currency deposits rose by 1.5% to Br26.291 billion.
