Belarusian ambassador, CIS Executive Committee secretary discuss cooperation advancement

MOSCOW, 30 August – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Dmitry Krutoi met with Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev on 30 August, the embassy's press service told.

A constructive exchange of opinions about current matters concerning the advancement of cooperation within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States took place. The sides noted they have similar approaches to the need to make the Commonwealth of Independent States stronger in new geopolitical conditions.

Close attention was paid to preparations for autumn sessions of supreme CIS bodies and Belarus' participation in the work of the Economic Affairs Commission under the CIS Economic Council.
