MINSK, 29 July (BelTA) – Belarus has opened 72 investment projects for foreign capital to develop the tourist infrastructure, Minister of Sport and Tourism of Belarus Oleg Kachan said at an online conferences hosted by the BelTA website on 29 July. According to him, the information about the investment projects is available on websites of the Belarusian Economy Ministry and oblast executive committees. The tourist centre ‘Oriental Star’ in Brest, the amusement centre ‘Aquapark’ in Gomel, the Gomel Business and Tourist Centre, hotel compounds in Vitebsk and Mogilev, Ratomka Racetrack in the Minsk region are the most interesting projects. Over the recent years, several tourist facilities have been constructed in Belarus at the expense of foreign investors. ‘Ethnographic Village of 19th Century’ in the Mogilev region, Crowne Plaza Hotel in Minsk and Cronon Park Hotel in Grodno are the most famous among them.
