Belarus' industrial output 2.5% down in January-April 2022

In January-April 2022 Belarus' industrial output amounted to Br54.4 billion, or 97.5% as against the same period of last year in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.

Production in the mining industry increased by 4.3%, however the output in the processing industry shrank by 3.3%.

Output inched up by 0.4% in the industries producing electricity, gas, steam, hot water, and conditioned air. The output of the industries providing water supply, waste collection, waste processing, waste disposal, and pollution cleanup dropped by 0.7%.
