Belarus chooses Best Stamp of the Year 2013

MINSK, 11 March (BelTA) – Belarus chose the Best Stamp of the Year 2013, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belposhta mail service.

In February Belpochta held a survey on the best stamp Belarus 2013. Anyone could take part in the poll by filling in a questionnaire form and sending their favorite stamp to the Marka publishing center.

The center received almost 2,000 questionnaire forms. Based on the vote count the best stamps of Belarus 2013 were selected. The winner is the stamp sheet "1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus" (design by Ivan Lukin). The stamp sheet "Belarusian animation films" (design by Ekaterina Priemko) placed second and the stamp sheet "400th anniversary of the arrival of the wonder-working Icon of the Mother of God of Budslav” (design by Yelena Medved) was third.
