Vitebsk region overhauled more than 206,000 square meters of housing in January-June

More than 1.2 million square meters of housing were overhauled in Belarus in January - June 2023, the correspondent was informed BELTA in the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services.

This year, the industry is tasked with ensuring the commissioning of 3,632 million square meters of the total area of residential buildings after major repairs. "According to the results of work for the first half of 2023, 1.246 million square meters of housing were put into operation in the republic as a whole after major repairs, with a plan of 1.017 million square meters.m. The plan was implemented by all regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee," the MZHKH noted.

Most of the housing was renovated in Minsk - 243.8 thousand square meters, which exceeds the plan for the first half of the year by 15.4%. Gomel Oblast received 218.9 thousand square meters (+10.9%), Vitebsk Oblast - 206.1 thousand square meters (+21.3%), Mogilev Oblast - 192.7 thousand square meters (+69.9%), Brest Oblast - 148.9 thousand square meters (+27%), Grodno Oblast-119.1 thousand square meters (+8.1%), Minsk - 117.3 thousand square meters (+19.5%).
