From june 29 to june 30, the traffic police of the Vitebsk region will carry out preventive measures

During the period of these events, special attention of employees will be paid to pedestrians and drivers who are in a state of intoxication.

According to statistics, in January-May, a decrease was registered in the region compared to the same period in 2021 in the number of traffic accidents involving pedestrians, as well as people killed and injured in them.

At the same time, there is a positive tendency to reduce the number of accidents committed through the fault of pedestrians in a state of intoxication, as well as vulnerable participants who died in the indicated car accidents.

Despite the above statistics, it is necessary to pay attention to a significant increase in the number of accidents involving cyclists, as well as road users killed and injured in them.
