Belarus’ export of tourism services up by 44.2% in January-October 2025
Belarus’ export of tourism services increased by 44.2% in January-October 2025, Yekaterina Goncharenok, deputy director, head of planning and tourism activities office of the Tourism Department at the Sports and Tourism Ministry, told a press conference in BelTA’s press center on 12 December.
“With the onset of winter and ahead of the holiday season, we are observing a significant increase in demand for domestic and inbound tourism in Belarus. This is encouraging, as the country offers a multitude of opportunities for diverse leisure activities. We see the quality of services and creativity of offers growing, and we invite everyone to discover Belarus from a new, winter perspective. For now we have had little snow. Possibly the winter will be snowless this year. This is a serious challenge for the tourism industry, but Belarusian destinations are prepared for it and are actively adapting, focusing on all-season offerings,” Yekaterina Goncharenok said.
She emphasized that the export of tourism services is growing this year. “In January-October 2025, the growth rate reached 144.2% compared to the same period in 2024. In monetary terms, we are showing record figures of $331.7 million, the best in the last 10 years of tourism development,” Yekaterina Goncharenok noted.
