Belarus admits over 12,500 Ukrainian citizens since January 2023

A total of 12,532 Ukrainian nationals have arrived in Belarus since 1 January 2023, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.

According to the committee, 9,167 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 2,444 - via Lithuania and 921 - via Latvia.

Since 24 February 2022, Belarus admitted 87,236 citizens of Ukraine. 15,890 people arrived in Belarus directly from the territory of Ukraine. 55,672 citizens of Ukraine came to Belarus via Poland, 12,594 - via Lithuania and 3,080- via Latvia.
