Lukashenko urges to make social assistance more targeted
As an example of such an erroneous social policy, Aleksandr Lukashenko cited Germany and other countries of Western Europe. "The West is seriously concerned about the migration policy. Where did it start? It started with Germany as it invited people over (to reinforce its workforce). They paid a lot of money to the people who came. Today they are coming back to their senses. Things are difficult to turn back in such a powerful country as Germany. Certain politicians lack willpower," the president said.
"Therefore, we should not drive ourselves into this trap," the head of state stressed. “We need to help those who really need our help. But the money must reach the people whom we help, whom we want to help."
The president stressed that when making certain decisions in the field of social assistance it is important to take into account the current difficult situation.
