Lukashenko sends Revolution Day greetings to Algeria
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune as the country celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Revolution Day of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“This day in the history of your country symbolizes the steadfastness, courage and unwavering will of the people to build an independent state, reminds of the sacrifices and difficulties that had to be overcome to gain sovereignty. Belarusians honor the memory of the heroes who made an invaluable contribution to the establishment of independent Algeria,” the message of greetings reads.
According to the head of state, Belarusian-Algerian relations have reached a new level while cooperation between the countries continues to strengthen.
“We are ready to help implement your initiatives to create a grain hub in Algeria, a fertilizer hub, to achieve self-sufficiency in food products, as well as in other sectors,” the president stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Abdelmadjid Tebboune and all citizens of Algeria stability and further prosperity: “May Revolution Day always be a source of pride and inspiration for future generations of Algerians,” the president said.
