Lukashenko approves state investment program for 2024
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has approved the state investment program for the year 2024. He signed corresponding decree No.119 on 29 March, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.
The state investment program lists a total of 120 facilities, 41 of which are supposed to be commissioned. The financing of construction (reconstruction) of 16 new facilities is also supposed to start, including four road construction facilities, two family-type orphanages, two hospitals, and four infrastructure facilities.
About Br2.1 billion has been appropriated for financing the projects listed by the program. Over 80% of the sum will be allocated for implementing the government programs “Belarus roads”, “Nation’s health and demographic security”, “Enforcement of law and order”, “Agribusiness”, “Border security,” “Education and youth policy”, “Housing construction”, and other ones.
State capital contributions and money of the national development fund have been distributed among social facilities, including healthcare facilities, education facilities, culture facilities, and sport facilities, water deferrization stations, rental housing, including housing for military personnel.
