Vitebsk to welcome International Song Contest 2010 tonight
VITEBSK, 13 July (BelTA) – The 19th International Song Contest will open within the framework of the Slavonic Bazaar Festival in Vitebsk on 13 July, BelTA has learnt. Partaking in the Vitebsk 2010 International Song Contest will be entries from 19 countries. Belarus will be represented by soloist of the Gomel Philharmonic Hall Denis Vershenko. The international jury panel will be chaired by Ukrainian singer Taisia Povaliy. During the first competitive day, the contesters will perform songs in their native languages. Inna Afanasieva, Dragomir Draganov, Nagima Iskalieva, Intars Busulis, Igor Korneliuk, Jelko Joksimovic, Helena Vondrackova and chair of the jury panel Taisia Povaliy will come on the stage tonight to support the participants of the contest . The second day of the Vitebsk 2010 International Song Contest will be held on 14 July. On 15 July, the jury panel will announce the winners of the contest.БЕЛТА
