Vitebsk to host international conference to discuss problems of anatomy science

VITEBSK, 14 September (BelTA) – scientists of medical universities of the CIS countries and Eastern Europe will take part in the conference dedicated to the problems of research organization of anatomy departments of universities, BelTA learnt from Doctor of Medicine Alexander Usovich, head of the human anatomy department of the Vitebsk State Medical University. The conference will be held in the Vitebsk State Medical University on 4-5 November. Taking part in the forum are expected to be around 100 scientists and specialists-anatomists from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Germany, Bulgaria, Poland and the Baltic states. The conference will discuss the problems of the academic activity and scientific research of the anatomic problems. During plenary sessions, participants of the forum are expected to share experience of the work of anatomic departments of educational and research organizations of various countries, develop the unitary standards of the legal support for the activity of anatomic departments. The resolution of the conference will be introduced before the state bodies of the CIS member countries to unify the legislative acts which regulate all the avenues of functioning of anatomic institutions, Alexander Usovich noted. Moreover, the conference will consider the issues concerning the use of information technologies in academic activity. During the work of the forum, the Vitebsk State Medical University will organize exhibitions of equipment and chemical reagents for anatomic and histological study, printed and electronic editions dedicated to medical, biological, pedagogical and veterinarian science. The conference will be organized by the Belarusian Health Ministry, the Vitebsk State Medical University and the International Association of Morphologists.
