Vitebsk, Pskov to create common tourist area
VITEBSK, 27 August (BelTA) – The Vitebsk oblast executive committee and the administration of Pskov oblast (Russia) are planning to establish a common tourist area in the border regions, Alexander Kosinets, the Chairman of Vitebsk oblast executive committee, said at a session of the committee on 27 August. Following the agreements between the Governor of Pskov oblast and the Chairman of the Vitebsk oblast executive committee, the tourist area will include Verkhnedvinsk, Osveya and Sebezh. These regions have specially protected sanctuaries and historical sites that attract tourists. According to Alexander Kosinets, the project may be financed from the Union State budget.БЕЛТА
