Vitebsk Oblast, Moscow District of S. Petersburg develop action plan for 2013-2016
MOSCOW, 25 September (BelTA) – Vitebsk Oblast and Moscow District of Saint Petersburg have signed a protocol of intentions and come up with a joint action plan for 2013-2016. The documents were signed by Vitebsk Oblast Governor Alexander Kosinets and head of the Moscow District administration Vladimir Rublevsky in Saint Petersburg, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Saint Petersburg administration.
The protocol and the joint action plan were signed within the framework of the cooperation agreement in trade, economy, IT, social and cultural fields concluded between the executive bodies of Vitebsk Oblast and Saint Petersburg in 2008.
Taking part in the signing ceremony were Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Saint Petersburg Anatoly Turchak, heads of major research centers and representatives of radio-electronics producers of Moscow District and Vitebsk Oblast. The participants of the meeting noted that a considerable joint work has been done in recent years. Over 20 companies from Moscow District collaborate with Belarusian enterprises as part of the trade, economic, academic and humanitarian cooperation agreements.
