Vitebsk Oblast business delegation to visit Kaluga on 15-16 September
VITEBSK, 15 September (BelTA) – Manufacturers and entrepreneurs from Vitebsk are going to discuss cooperation prospects and educational projects with partners in Kaluga on 15-16 September, BelTA learnt from the regional union of employers. The business trip was stipulated in a cooperation agreement signed by the regional union of employers, Kaluga union of manufacturers and entrepreneurs, and the Smolensk Oblast sci-tech union. The Belarusian delegation will meet with top officials of Kaluga and the oblast, regional business associations and the Regional Development Agency. The parties will discuss ways to deepen cooperation in the manufacturing industry, science and technology and trade. Top on the agenda will also be innovative solutions and technologies, joint projects and programs, personnel development. The Vitebsk Oblast delegation will hold talks with local businessmen and visit Kaluga College of Information Technology and Management to study Kaluga expertise in the training of specialists for the car industry. Belarusian businessmen will also be taken to OOO Volkswagen Group Rus. The Belarusian delegation consists of heads of almost 20 companies and research facilities. The visit is arranged by the Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers under the auspices of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee. The Vitebsk Regional Union of Employers is the major non-profit union of employers in Vitebsk Oblast. Its members are over 270 companies and organizations. The union was established in 1999; it operates six branches all over the oblast. The members of the union account for about 80% of the output of Vitebsk Oblast.БЕЛТА
