Verkhnedvinsk Region to host Dvina-Dzvina-Daugava Festival of Children’s Arts
VITEBSK, 24 May (BelTA) – The 12th Dvina-Dzvina-Daugava International Festival of Children’s Arts will be held in the Verkhnedvinsk Region (Vitebsk Oblast, Belarus) on 30 May, BelTA learned from the Verkhnedvinsk Regional Executive Committee. Taking part in the festival will be art groups from Russia, Latvia and Lithuania. Belarus will be represented by children’s art groups from Orsha, Lepel, Vitebsk, Polotsk, Novopolotsk, Miory, Sharkovshchina and Verkhnedvinsk regions. All in all, 350 people will take part in the event. A theatrical show dedicated to the historical unity of the neighboring countries and the river which unites them will open the festival. The festival program also includes a concert, a dance show, an equestrian show, an exhibition of floral compositions and a crafts fair. On the eve of the festival, Russian and Latvian children’s art groups will give concerts in agrotowns Valyntsy and Shaiterovo. The 12th Dvina-Dzvina-Daugava International Festival of Children’s Arts promotes friendly and cultural links between the youth from various countries. The festival is organized by the Verkhnedvinsk Regional Executive Committee.БЕЛТА
