This border outpost, which is situated within the patrol area of the Polotsk border detachment, is situated in Braslav District and is part of the Urbany border control department (the Belarusian-Lithuanian border sector). The construction was financed from the Union State budget. In July 2013 an administrative building of the Vidzy border outpost, which is part of the Vidzy border control department, is set to be commissioned, too. The Vidzy border control department is also located in Braslav District at the Belarusian-Lithuanian border.
