The first stage of the operation "Illegal-2022" took place on the territory of the Vitebsk region

The Department of Citizenship and Migration of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee informs that in the period from 06/29/2022 to 07/01/2022, the first stage of the operation against illegal migration "Illegal-2022" was carried out in the Vitebsk region.

For violation of migration legislation as a result of the measures taken to administrative responsibility under Art. On 24.35, 24.33 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus, 9 citizens were involved: 1 of them was a citizen of Tajikistan, 4 were citizens of the Russian Federation (for living outside the place of registration), 1 was a citizen of Azerbaijan (for carrying out labor activities without a special work permit), 2 - stateless persons, as well as 1 citizen of the Republic of Belarus (for providing housing for residence to a foreign citizen who violated the rules for the stay of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Republic of Belarus).

Also, 3 foreign citizens (1 - a citizen of Tajikistan, 2 - citizens of the Russian Federation) were subject to forcible expulsion from the territory of the Republic of Belarus with a ban on entry into the territory of the Republic of Belarus for a period of 1 to 2 years, respectively.
