Targeted social aid provided to 4,700 residents of Vitebsk Oblast in January-March
VITEBSK, 19 April (BelTA) – In January-March 4,700 residents of Vitebsk Oblast received Br1.7 billion worth of state targeted social assistance (STSA), BelTA learned from the committee for labor, employment and social protection of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee. One-parent families account for 27% of the total number of the targeted social aid recipients, two-parent families with one or two children for 12%, families with tree and more children for 13%, families with handicapped children for 2%, single citizens for 33% of the total number. In fact the total number of recipients of the targeted social assistance reduced in January-March as against the same period last year. The targeted social assistance to the amount of Br315 million was provided to 399 third degree disabled people and under-age children not recognized as disabled to pay for social rehabilitation facilities.БЕЛТА
