Students from Belarus, Poland and Latvia to pass exams in art in Vitebsk
VITEBSK, May 18 (BelTA) – Students from Belarus, Poland and Latvia will participate in the Art-Session Contest which will be held in Vitebsk on May 21-23, BelTA learnt from the youth department of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee. Taking part in the contest are students of art colleges and universities. The event is traditionally held in the Vitebsk Concert Hall. The contest includes seven sections: painting, graphic art, sculpture, applied and decorative arts, avant-garde, design art and multimedia. Evaluating the participants, the jury will take into consideration the artistic design and their professional level. The results of the contest will be announced during an award ceremony on May 21. The programme of the Art-Session Contest also includes an exhibition of contest works, presentation of art projects, concerts, discussions, round tables and conferences. The main goal of the contest is to promote the communication between the creative youth of various countries. The contest is organized by the Vitebsk Cultural Centre, the youth department of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee and the culture department of the Vitebsk Town Executive Committee.БЕЛТА
