Slavianski Bazaar's Dream Dance Fest project to feature 21 teams from Belarus
The final show of the Dream Dance Fest project will take place in the format of a gala concert during the 30th edition of the International Festival of Arts Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk.
Taking part in the project will be Belarus' best teams. Participants representing other countries will be selected in the near future, BelTA learned from the festival's directorate.
The dance project will be held for the third time. This year, more than 2,200 dancers competed for the right to represent Belarus at the festival, but only 21 teams were shortlisted. “Dance groups from all the regions took part in the national selection. The program features various age groups, including the 50+ group. The youngest participant has just turned 3 years old, and the oldest is 73,” the directorate noted.
The 30th edition of the International Festival of Arts Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk is scheduled for 14-19 July. The festival's program includes adult and junior song contests, traditional concerts, theater performances, a street art festival, and many other events.
