Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk to open officially on 11 July
There will be many other interesting events throughout the day, like the opening of the festival’s international press center. It hosts conversations with celebrities, various press conferences, live broadcasts, Q&A sessions.
Vladimir Mayakovsky Moscow Academic Theater will present its production “Russian Novel” at the Yakub Kolas National Academic Drama Theater at 19:00.
At 11:00 the exhibition “Repin and his students” put together by the National Art Museum of Belarus will open at the Vitebsk Art Museum.
The House of Cinema will host the international social, spiritual and educational project “Cinema Lecture Dormitory”. It will start at 12:30.
Young hopefuls from 14 countries will take to the stage of the Vitebsk Concert Hall again to compete for the Grand Prix of the International Children's Song Contest. After the first show held the day before, the entry from Malta was in the lead. Belarusian Zlata Yaroshevich came third along with a Russian singer.
A youth patriotic forum dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders will kick off on Millennium Square at 14:30.
The participants of the National Patriotic Song Contest will gather at Piotr Masherov Vitebsk State University at 17:00.
The Museum of the Private Collecting History will present “Cultural Diversity and Landscapes of Pakistan” at 15:30.
A jazz concert is scheduled to take place at the Vitebsk Philharmonic at 18:00.
The audience of the grand opening of the 33rd edition of the international arts festival Slavianski Bazaar will be treated to a surprise - an open-air party near the Vitebsk Concert Hall. This is the first time such an event will be held during the festival and the party will go on till 0:30.
