Rodion Bass: Junior song contest come to rival pop song contest
VITEBSK, 19 July (BelTA) – The International Junior Song Contest Vitebsk has turned into a big rival of the International Contest of Pop Singers Vitebsk, Director of the cultural center Vitebsk and the International Arts Festival Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk Rodion Bass told BelTA. “It has become as spectacular and popular as the adult contest,” Rodion Bass said. He added that a gala concert of the junior song contest might be held at the major stage of the Slavonic Bazaar festival – the Summer Amphitheater. “It deserves it,” Rodion Bass said. Taking part in the junior song contest this year were 20 young hopefuls from 17 countries. The Grand Prix went to Georgian performer Mariam Bichoshvili. Belarus was represented by Yevgenia Klepitskaya and Liza Muravieva.БЕЛТА
