President’s decree institutes emblems of towns in Vitebsk Oblast, Grodno Oblast
MINSK, 29 July (BelTA) – In order to restore historical heraldic symbols and create new ones in some administrative and territorial units Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree to institute official emblems of these towns, BelTA learned from the presidential press service.
The decree instituted the emblem of the Babinovichi agrotown, Liozno District, Vitebsk Oblast.
In Grodno Oblast the document established emblems of the village of Lyubcha, Novogrudok District, the Zhirovichi agrotown, Slonim District, and the Odelsk agrotown, Grodno District.
The decree also approved the provision regarding corresponding administrative and territorial units.
