New products account for 19% of industrial output in Vitebsk oblast in Q1
VITEBSK, 5 May (BelTA) – The share of new products accounted for 19% of the total industrial output in the Vitebsk oblast in Q1, chairman of the Vitebsk oblast executive committee Alexander Kosinets told a press conference. The regional companies continue implementing their upgrade programs and quality projects. In Q1 2010, 235 producers were awarded the certificates of compliance with the ISO 9001 quality management standards, 17 companies got ISO 14000 environmental certificates and 31 have confirmed the compliance with the HACCP requirements. This year the growth trends remain in place across the main sectors of the national economy of the oblast, Alexander Kosinets said. The growth was registered regarding all major indices of the social and economic development. The Naftan oil refinery is not considered, the industrial growth in the oblast made up 12.9% as against January-March 2009. The production of consumer goods was up 9.7%. The merchandise export was up by 44.9%, oil and oil products are not considered. The trade surplus came to $104.8%. As of 1 April, the ratio of warehouse stocks to the industrial output made up 34.9% as against 56.9% in the same period 2009.БЕЛТА
