Minsk Conference on Eurasian Security seen as Belarus’ important initiative
CSTO Deputy Secretary General Taalatbek Masadykov thanked Belarus for the initiative to hold the Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security during the joint session of the Council and the 17th plenary session of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly held in Moscow on 9 December, BelTA has learned.
"It is worth emphasizing the valuable Belarusian initiative to hold the International Conference on Eurasian Security. We are grateful to our colleagues for holding its second edition in Minsk in October, which brought together more than 600 participants from 40 countries," Taalatbek Masadykov said.
"The detailed discussions held during the conference will undoubtedly contribute to the effective solutions to strengthen the security system on our continent," he stressed.
