Maxim Dunayevsky to head pop song contest jury at Slavonic Bazaar
VITEBSK, 19 April (BelTA) – The jury of the 21st international pop song contest Vitebsk 2012 will be headed by Maxim Dunayevsky, a composer, a People’s Artist of Russia, the official website of the festival Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk reads. Maxim Dunayevsky has written songs for Mikhail Boyarsky, Nikolai Karachentsev, Pavel Smeyan, Tatiana Bulanova. He has written music for over 30 movies. He was the host of an operetta program broadcast by the Russian TV channel Kultura. He was a member of the jury of the music television contest People’s Artist. Maxim Dunayevsky puts efforts into charity and public activities. He is the president of the cultural charity foundation named after his father Isaak Dunayevsky. He is Deputy President of the Professional Composers Guild, an academician of the Russian National Movie Academy, a member of the expert council recruited by TV Channel One to select candidates for Eurovision. The composer has taken part in concerts at the art festival Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk many times. At present entrants for the international pop song contest Vitebsk are being selected. The pop song contest is the key event of the festival Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk. The festival will take place in Vitebsk on 12-18 July.БЕЛТА
