Italian businessmen take interest in investment potential of Chashniki Region
VITEBSK, 24 May (BelTA) – Italian businessmen have taken interest in the investment potential of the Chashniki Region, BelTA learnt from head of the ideological department of the Chashniki Regional Executive Committee Tatiana Pchelkina. The extensive delegation that visited the Chashniki Region included head of the Italian Logistics Association AILOG Domenico Netti, top executives of major Italian companies producing cosmetics and personal care products, ventilation equipment and logistics companies. The Italian guests visited the Lukoml state district power plant, major industrial and food processing plants, held meetings with representatives of the local enterprises and organizations. The Italian businessmen praised the products of Chashniki enterprises and expressed their interest in cooperation, Tatiana Pchelkina said. Potential investors voiced their readiness to help promote the products of Novolukoml Dairy on the Italian market after its packaging is brought in compliance with international standards. Italian entrepreneurs view the Chashniki interregional trading depot as a promising logistic ground for promoting Belarusian and Italian products on the European market. The sides considered a possibility to set up joint ventures to process fish, construct recreation facilities and use idle premises of Chashniki enterprises. At present, the sides are reconciling the details of these projects, Tatiana Pchelkina added.БЕЛТА
