IT Academy to open in Novopolotsk
MINSK, 3 September (BelTA) – The IT Academy will open in Novopolotsk on 4 September, BelTA learnt from the High-Tech Park Administration. The IT Academy will provide extended education for adults, programming fundamentals for students of the 3rd-11th forms, cutting-edge technologies in the educational and management activity. The academy will run courses in IT and provide distance education. Seven High-Tech Park resident companies: Systemic Technologies, EPAM Systems, ScienceSoft, SaM Solutions, Itransition, Marko and Softek Development sponsored the academy’s material and technical basis. The High-Tech Park started popularizing IT education from opening computer classes in Mariina Gorka and Klimovichi in 2008 and 2009 respectively. In December 2009 Orsha became the first town in Belarus where the High-Tech Park set up an IT resource center for the whole town. “The uniqueness of the Novopolotsk IT Academy is that it will be a scientific and educational institution for students, teachers and parents,” the High-Tech Park Administration said.БЕЛТА
