In Vitebsk Oblast, more than half of the areas of early spring grain crops sown

Agrarians of Vitebsk Oblast over the weekend crossed the equator in the sowing of early spring grain and leguminous crops, Agriculture and Food Office of Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee said.

On the morning of April 20, 137.800 ha were sown in the oblast, or 54.9% of the planned area for this group. The most active work is progressing in Dubrovno (80% of the plan was sown), Chashniki (74%) and Polotsk (70%) regions.
