“It used to be considered normal for children to work on collective farm fields during the holidays, and after school to help their mothers on farms,” says Alla. - Of course, it was harder before, all the work was manual. These are now milk pipelines, conveyors, and tractors. But still, the work of a machine milking operator is a responsible one that does not tolerate negligence.

Having trained as a seamstress, Alla went to work in agriculture for a number of reasons. She currently has 57 heifers in her care. Alla tries to do everything according to the highest class: she has both cows and newborn calves inspected. The effort pays off in milk.

Livestock breeder Alexander Savchenko is always busy. The man says that working in agriculture requires maximum effort from a person.

“I had the opportunity to work in forestry, but I still felt drawn back to my native farm,” shares Alexander. – I believe that everyone should choose a job, first of all, the one to which their heart lies.

Under the care of the livestock breeder there are more than 90 calves aged from two to six months. Average daily weight gain is about 700 grams.

“We need to feed and water, ensure that the animals are kept clean and tidy,” states Alexander. – I try to do everything responsibly. You need to live joyfully, work conscientiously. Calves, like small children, understand everything - both affection and a stern word. An important condition for good weight gain is high-quality feed.

The livestock farmer's working day begins at five in the morning, however, according to him, time flies unnoticed with the usual chores.

“And when you love what you do with all your heart, things are doubly successful,” emphasizes Alexander Savchenko.
