Heads of regional customs houses of Belarus and Russia to discuss cooperation in Orsha
VITEBSK, 23 September (BelTA) – The cooperation of the customs services in developing the Belarusian-Russian trade will be discussed at a session of the regional customs houses of the two countries in the Belarusian town of Orsha on 24 September, BelTA learnt from the Vitebsk customs house. The session will be held under the auspices of the Belarus State Customs Committee. Attending the event will be officials of the Belarus State Customs Committee, the heads of the Vitebsk, Polotsk, Mogilev, Gomel (Belarus) and also the Sebezh, Bryansk and Smolensk customs houses. During the session, the sides will consider the optimization of the activity of the customs houses of the neighboring regions of both the countries in developing the boundary trade and information exchange between the customs services to exclude lines on the Belarusian-Russian border. The heads of the customs houses will discuss the measures aimed at reducing the border crossing time at the Belarusian-Russian part of the border, creating the favorable conditions for participants of the foreign and economic activity.БЕЛТА
