Glubokoye Dairy now Kosher certified
VITEBSK, 8 August (BelTA) – Glubokoye Dairy has been awarded Kosher certification for the production of condensed milk, BelTA learnt from the company. Certification confirms high quality and purity of the products the company uses. The document provides the dairy with an opportunity to supply condensed milk to Israel. The company has already received the first orders for kosher condensed milk. The quality of the Glubokoye Dairy products has been also confirmed by a number of other certificates. Thus, in 2004 the company introduced a quality management system in line with STB ISO 9001-2001 requirements for the production of condensed milk, tinned milk powder, and butter. In December 2008 the company was certified for compliance of the food quality and safety standard HACCP with STB 1470-2004 requirements. Since 24 may 2011 the company has been producing condensed milk tins in line with LST EN ISO 9001: 2008 quality management system. The company has also introduced the food safety management system in conformity with LST EN ISO 22000: 2005 requirements regarding the production of tinned condensed milk. In January-June the company produced Br153 billion of products, or 144.8% on the same months in 2010. Margin on sales reached 13.4%. The export grew 11.4% to $20.2 million. Its share in the total sales made up 47.5%. The company sold into Russia, Ukraine, Canada, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova and Armenia. Glubokoye Dairy was founded in 1966. It comprises the Braslav manufacturing subsidiary and the Mnyuto agricultural company. The company produces tinned milk, butter, milk powder, whole-milk products, casein, and cheese. The company’s lineup includes over 120 descriptions. The company employs 1,100 professionals.БЕЛТА
