Christmas readings were held in Chashniki

The event started with the city reading competition “The Light of Christ’s Nativity” at the regional resource center “Spiritual and moral education of students based on the Orthodox culture and traditions of the Belarusian people,” operating in school No. 1 in Chashniki named after E. Ivanovsky.

Throughout the week, educational and cultural institutions hosted events for audiences of all ages, from young to old. The main topic of discussion at meetings with the clergy and dialogue platforms with young people was family values. Visitors came to exhibitions and competitions, master classes and quests with the whole family. The readings ended with a concert with the telling title “Illuminating Our Thoughts with the Light of Christmas.”

“There are less than two weeks left until the Nativity of Christ,” reminds the dean of the Chashniksky district, Vladimir Koleda. – There is still time to prepare for the bright holiday. We need to put our homes, thoughts, feelings in order, pave the path to the temple, and most importantly, warm our loved ones with attention and perform deeds of mercy.
