Bertsch to build power plant in Vitebsk
MINSK, 16 November (BelTA) - The Austrian company Bertsch is planning to build a heat power plant in Vitebsk which will run on local fuels, BelTA learnt from Mr Hubert Bertsch, Managing Director and Owner of Bertsch Holding GmbH., President of the Association of Industrialists of Austria. Mr Hubert Bertsch is in Minsk attending the 7th Belarus Investment Forum The Austrian company Bertsch and Belenergo signed a framework agreement on investment intentions in the energy sector. The investor plans to build a power plant running on local fuels, in particular peat. This will help reduce the import of gas and oil from Russia. The final cost of the project will be known after the negotiations. Approximately it will make up ?30-35 million. The Austrian company Bertsch has been present on the Belarusian market for several years already. It is engaged in the manufacture and supply of equipment for the food industry and the energy sector. The company was founded in 1925. Mr Hubert Burch is the heir of the family business and is willing to expand the company's presence in the Belarusian market.БЕЛТА
